Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Halloween is my favorite holiday. You get dressed up, decorate and eat candy all day until your stomach hurts. What's not to love? If you are still looking for an easy last minute decoration to put up for your party or trick or treaters this year I've got the perfect hanging decoration for you.

What you will need

Streamers

Needlepoint Frame

Wire

(can bend easily, I used jewelry wire but a wire hanger would work)

Clippers to cut your wire

Glue

(any glue will work, I used hot glue but Elmer's glue would work too)

All of these items can be found at any craft store

Wrap one end of your wire to the side of the needlepoint frame. Extend the wire across the center of the frame to the opposite end, wrapping it to the other side of the frame.  

Repeat the step making an "X"

Cut a piece of streamer to your desired length. Wrap it up and over one end of the frame.

Vary the end lengths of the streamers. One end should be longer than the other.
 

Place glue on the bottom streamer. Then place the top streamer at an angle on top.
 

Repeat the step, slightly overlapping your new strips.

Again, the lengths should vary. Repeat this step around your frame.

When finished, tie a knot in the center of your wire "x". You may need to bend the wire a little in order for the decoration to properly hang.
 

 . . . . and voila! Now you have a cute and fun decoration for over your party table, window or entryway. They remind me of a white ghost and black spider.
